Monsters Unleashed brings together cryptid field research, paranormal investigations, firsthand stories, and a community willing to explore the unexplained.

Founded by Michael “Monster Mike” Webb, our work reaches beyond a single creature or location. We explore Bigfoot and Sasquatch reports, Dogman encounters, paranormal experiences, and the local legends that connect people to the places they call home. Appalachia is at the heart of our story, but our curiosity extends wherever an account raises a question.

Out of the studio. Into the field.

Our investigations take us into forests, campgrounds, cemeteries, and places associated with unusual experiences. North Carolina, Kentucky, and Tennessee are central to our field work, including the Land Between the Lakes. We document what happens through video, photographs, audio, and observations, then bring those experiences back to our audience.

The process matters: listening to an account, considering the surroundings, looking at what was captured, and asking what else might explain it. A story can be compelling while questions remain. We want viewers to consider the material and take part in the conversation.

A place for witnesses to be heard.

Behind every sighting is a person with an experience to describe. We aim to give witnesses a respectful place to share their accounts. Our community map lets visitors report encounters and explore what others have submitted. Each public entry is an unverified witness report, with an approximate location to help protect privacy.

Conversations that keep the questions alive.

Monsters Unleashed LIVE airs Sundays at 7 PM Eastern. Our live show brings together researchers, witnesses, and people interested in cryptids and the paranormal. We discuss encounters, field experiences, and the stories behind the people doing the work. The audience is part of the experience, with live chat helping shape the conversation.

Keeping mountain stories alive.

Mike’s writing carries that same connection to place and imagination. His books Echoes in the Hollows: In the Shadows of These Mountains and In the Shadows of These Mountains draw readers into Appalachian stories and his accounts of the unexplained.
